At the bottom of a steep sided valley beside the River Coln in the pretty hamlet of Fossebridge, you will find the Inn at Fossebridge, an enchanting early 17th century former Coaching Inn. Today, it is a charming Georgian Cotswold retreat; offering 9 individual en suite bedrooms, a traditional inn with roaring log fires & flagstone floors, serving local ales and excellent food, all set in a stunning riverside garden of 4 acres. A splendid country pub, superbly cosy in winter but also with beautifuk gardens to enjoy during the spring and summer months.
This attractive family run free house has a rich history as a former coaching inn. It is now a quintessential Cotswold dining pub with comfortable accommodation. The Inn’s original features of exposed beams, stone walls, open log fires and polished flagstone floors still remain today. Our traditional bar and restaurant is located in the oldest part of the building and is a wonderful retreat to enjoy local ales and good food combined with high levels of comfort and service. The daily special’s and creative dining menus offer dishes using fresh, award winning local and seasonal produce, from light lunches, Fossebridge Classics to hearty main courses.
The Inn at Fossebridge is situated in a dip on the A429 (Fosse Way), 6 miles north of Cirencester at Fossebridge, between the Gloucestershire towns of Cirencester and Northleach. The Inn is within an hour’s drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Bristol & Bath, whilst Cheltenham, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold & The Slaughters are a short distance away.
