A vacancy has arisen for the position of an experienced Full Time Assistant House Keeper to join the team at an independent & friendly family run Cotswold Country Inn.
We have 9 elegant Georgian bedrooms & en suite bathrooms, a large traditional bar & restaurant, private dining rooms and a detached self-catering holiday cottage.
Applicants must have previous experience in a 3-4* establishment
The ideal candidate will be organised, confident, presentable, be able to work alone as well as part of a team, with the ability to communicate clearly & effectively. Commitment essential.
This full time position will entail:
- 30 hour week over 5 days including weekends on a rota basis (8.00am – 2.00pm)
- Responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the hotel with some sole charge
- Serve guests during breakfast
- Opportunity to attend an AA half day housekeeping course
- Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper
- Live in accommodation available (or applicant must drive due to rural location)
- Hourly rate of £6.50 + Tips + 28 days holiday

We are a busy Cotswold Inn looking to expand our team. Our staff are known for being friendly and welcoming and are always willing to go that extra mile for our customers.
- Must be personable, outgoing and be able to hit the ground running.
- Applicants must have previous bar experience within a hotel or similar for this role.
- Shift work is involved working 5 days over a 7 day period, which includes working weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
- 40 hours per week
- You will be responsible for bar service to include making coffees and some light refreshments.
- Good customer service skills are essential
- Good hourly rate & tips
- Transport is desirable for this role due to location
- Possible live in accommodation available
