The idyllic hamlet of Fossebridge is situated on the historic Fosse Way (Stow Road A429), a Roman road running all the way from Exeter to Lincoln. The location is perfect for exploring the entire Cotswold area and beyond, being 6 miles north of Cirencester and 11 miles south of Stow-on-the-Wold.

The area around Fossebridge showcases rural England at its very best, with many beautiful walks right on the doorstep, in particular through the stunning Coln Valley.

Directions: From M4, Junction 15, A419 towards Cirencester, then A429 towards Stow on Wold.  The Inn is located 6 miles on the left in a steep dip.

Public Transport Directions

 

TRAINS from London Paddington stop at Moreton-in-Marsh (19 miles), Cheltenham Spa (10 miles) and Kemble (8 miles). We recommend that guests travel by train to Kemble Station and take a taxi.
